Configure Time Format
What Is the Time Format?
The Time Format setting determines if the time of day in transfer cases appears in 12 hour or 24 hour format. If a user types a date in a different format, the date automatically converts to the configured format.
Why Configure Transfers Time Formats?
Users see the time of day in the format that they are used to and do not have to perform the conversions from one format to another.
How to Configure Transfers Time Format
- Go to Admin > Settings > Platform Settings to display the Manage Settings page.
- Under Transfers Time Format > General Settings, select one of the following options:
- 12 Hour Format - The times of day appear as the hours (1-12) followed by AM or PM and then the minutes (1-60)
- 24 Hour Format -The times of day appear as the hours (1-24) and then the minutes (1-60).
Note:
The default value is 24 Hour Format.
- Select Change Settings to save the new time format that you entered.
The updated time format setting is activated for users who sign in from this point forward.
