View Dictionary Item Lists

1. Go to Admin > Data > Dictionaries to display the Dictionaries page.
2. In Select Dictionaries, select a dictionary name to display the list of that dictionary's items. Select one of the following:Some examples of dictionaries are:

• Facilities
• Service Lines
• Physicians
• Medication
• Payor (Only applies to US health systems.)
• Transfer Reason

3. The item list is sorted by the names of the items. To reverse the order of the list, select the Name column heading. To return to the original order of the sort, select the Name column heading again.

4. To search for a particular dictionary item, type at least three consecutive characters that are contained in the item's name in the search field next to the Select Dictionary field.

The dictionary list refreshes to display only the items that contain the characters that you typed.

To clear the search field and display the full item list, select the x next to the characters that you typed.
