Enter Data for Your Facility

There are two methods to enter your facility's data. You can:

Click here to view a description of each of the data fields that need to be entered.

Any data point that you do not know the value of can be left as "Unknown". However, users are still encouraged to fill in all data points to the best of their knowledge and only leave them "Unknown" as a last resort.

To leave a data point as "Unknown", you can leave it blank if it's already empty or delete the value that's currently typed into the field.

Data points marked with an asterisk (*) cannot be left as "Unknown".

Manually Enter Data

  1. From the Capacity & Utilization page, select Add New Entry to open the data entry form.
  2. Enter your hospital's data in the appropriate fields.

Please do not enter 0 unless the value is actually 0.

  3. Select Submit.

Upload Data with a .CSV File

  1. Download the .csv file template from the data entry form.
  2. Select the covid19NewEntry.csv file to save it to your local drive.
  3. Open the covid19NewEntry.csv file and type the appropriate values in each column. Use one row for the current date and time.

You can use the same .csv file for multiple entries, however only the top row of data directly beneath the headers (occupied beds, total beds, etc.) will be added to the data entry form.

  4. Save the file.
  5. From the Capacity & Utilization page, select Add New Entry to open the data entry form.
  6. Select Choose File to display the upload dialog box.

  7. Navigate to and select the file on your local drive.
  8. Select Submit.
