Change Clinician Accounts

Why Change Clinician Accounts?

  • If any clinician information needs to be changed, then a service line owner can edit it from the Edit Clinician page.

Example:

If a clinician's last name changes, you can edit it.

  • If a clinician account has been transferred from the classic TransferCenterIQ™ application and the Clinicians page shows that the account is missing some information, a Complete Profile link appears in the row that shows the clinician's information. To be assigned to shifts and included in the schedule, the clinician must have a complete profile. You can select the Complete Profile link to display the Create Clinicians page. On the Create Clinicians page, provide the missing information, and then select Create Clinician. This creates a complete profile for the clinician whose information was transferred from the TransferCenterIQ™ application.

If a clinician profile from TransferCenter™ application is missing information, select Complete Profile

Who Can Change a Clinician Account?

The administrator of your TeleTracking IQ® platform assigns people who are responsible for schedules to the role of Service Line Owner. If you have been assigned the Service Line Owner role, you can update clinician information that is displayed on the Clinician page and in the shifts on the Schedule page and the Currently On Call page. Service line owners can edit a clinician account for any service line that is associated with a facility that 1) an administrator has associated with their user profiles and 2) has been associated with the clinician's account. For example, if you are a service line owner for Cardiology, you can edit Cardiology clinician accounts, and you can also edit clinician accounts for other service lines, such as Obstetrics, as long as an administrator has associated your user profile with the facility, an administrator has associated the service line with the facility, and the clinician's account is associated with the facility.
